Booking Terms & Conditions
We try to be relaxed and informal so that you can enjoy your stay with us at the Lynch Country House. We do, however, also have to be mindful that we run a business and have certain responsibilities to all our guests and of course, we have to have a few house rules in place which form part of our terms and conditions which you accept when making your booking.
Check-in/Check-out Times
Rooms are available between 12.00-2.00pm and also 6.oo-8.00pm. Check-out time from your room is before 11.00am in order to allow the house staff to ready the room for the next guests. If you have specific requirements regarding your arrival/departure times we are very happy to try to accommodate although it is not always possible.
We reserve the right to make additional charges if rooms are not vacated by the agreed times.
Deposits
We ask for a rounded up/down 20% deposit on confirmation of your booking to secure the room. This can be made with any major debit/credit card, cash or cheque. In specific instances, special events, block bookings etc we may require a larger deposit which we will discuss with you beforehand.
Cancellations
We fully understand that circumstances sometimes mean that it may be necessary to cancel your booking with us. We try to be as fair as we can on this. If, at the time of your cancellation, all our rooms are not booked or we have time to re-sell your room we are more than happy to refund your deposit in full.
If we have turned enquiries away for your room and cannot re-sell the room in the time given, your deposit will be forfeited.
If you need to cancel with less than 48 hours notice or a no-show, the full amount of your stay will be charged to you in the event the room remains un-sold.
Children
We are always happy to welcome well behaved children of any age but would ask for a reasonable amount of parental supervision and to consider other guests who may be staying with us. Not everyone gets up at 6am when they are on holiday!! Children are expected to be supervised at all times when in the grounds, there is open water and livestock and it is explicitly your responsibility to ensure the safety of your children.
Parking
There is good on-site parking on our property for our guests. We would ask that you ensure family/friends/colleagues visiting you whilst you are staying with us to use the lay-by outside the Lynch or the local public car-park (3 minutes walk) as when we are full, parking spaces are limited for visitors. Whilst this is an extremely safe and quiet area, owners park at their own risk and are responsible for their own vehicle and belongings.
Smoking
In accordance with the prevailing Law of this land, we are strictly a non-smoking establishment.
We reserve the right to make additional charges for any deep cleaning procedures required if you do smoke in your room.
Acceptance
Your booking with The Lynch Country House constitutes your understanding and acceptance of the above terms and conditions.
